IPL Hair Removal Using E-light technology
This is a technology combining Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) with Radio Frequency (RF). This advanced combination proves effective even in cases where other systems fail and is perfect for smaller area’s of hair removal ie) Facial Hair, nipples and Hollywood/Brazillian bikinis.

How does it work?
Radio Frequency technology reaches the middle and deeper layers of the skin by heating the tissue. This allows for less energy needed to be applied during the IPL treatment, leading to greater results obtained with a reduced number of sessions. The energy generated by the E -LIGHT is transformed into heat that permanently burns the hair bulb yet does not affect the rest of the cutaneous structures. Also, the cooling system provided by the equipment minimises any type of discomfort.
How many sessions do I need?
The number of E-LIGHT hair removal sessions depends on the type of hair, the density, the method you were using to shave, the area to be treated, the sensitivity of your skin and the response of your body to the treatment. With our E-LIGHT machine, 6 -10 sessions are usually required to get the desired results. However, clients with lighter hair will expect to undergo more treatments than the standard treatment numbers for darker hair.
​Our therapists will advise you on the frequency of treatments throughout your sessions. In facial areas, we recommend performing the sessions every 4-6 weeks, and other large body areas every 6 weeks. E-LIGHT technology can treat virtually the entire body.
